The first step in making any decision about cosmetic surgery or non-surgical treatments is to have a professional consultation, where you will get a proper appraisal of what is appropriate for you and no pressure put on you to proceed. Indeed, Consultant Plastic Surgeons in BPS all adhere to the standard of encouraging you to take at least 2 weeks after your first consultation before proceeding with any operation.

Consultations with our Consultant Plastic Surgeons are £70 to discuss removal of benign moles and £90 to discuss any plastic or cosmetic surgery procedure. Further consultations if you have more queries about the same procedure will not be charged. Consultations with our nurse practitioner (who treats facial lines and wrinkles) is free.

The fees listed here are a guide: differences from the guide may be due to the different fees hospitals charge, your particular operation may be more complex or carried out under local or general anaesthetic, or (for breast enlargement) breast implants are priced differently depending on the type of implants used. The guide does include your surgeon’s fee, the anaesthetist’s fee (where appropriate) and all hospital costs, including overnight stay where necessary and all follow-up care.

For operations that we carry out in the Bristol Nuffield Hospital, we are able to offer our patients some payment options set up by Nuffield Hospitals to help with the cost of operations.

Fixed Price Direct is a way in which people who don’t have private medical insurance, or those who find that their insurance doesn’t cover a particular condition, can enjoy the benefits of private care, whilst knowing exactly how much it is going to cost. Nuffield Hospitals will provide a written offer which identifies all the services which will be provided after your initial consultation, but can typically include overnight accommodation (if needed), operating theatre costs, nursing, drugs and dressings, the fees of the surgeon and anaesthetist (if appropriate). If you have to stay in hospital longer than we expect or anything else is needed for your treatment whilst you are in hospital, Nuffield Hospitals makes no extra charge.

Through Nuffield Hospitals you can also secure a Personal Medical Loan provided by Clydesdale Financial Services, which can be used to fund a wide range of Fixed Price treatments with repayment periods of either 2 or 3 years. You may be eligible for an interest free Personal Medical Loan where, after paying a minimum 10% deposit, the balance of the cost of your treatment is spread over 10 equal monthly payments.
