Face lift

The face lift procedure

There are various types of face lift that can be performed, and we will help you to choose the one best suited to your needs and expectations.

The operation is carried out under general anaesthetic, and involves tightening up your skin and the deeper tissues of your face.

We will help you to choose the type of face lift best suited to your needs and expectations.

The procedure is quite lengthy, and usually takes about 2 to 3 hours.  When you wake up, you will have small drains inserted under the skin to collect any blood.  These will be removed before you leave hospital.  You will also have bandages around your head – these will be left in place for 2 to 7 days.

You will need to wash your hair the night before the operation, and avoid wearing make-up on the day.  It may be useful to take sunglasses and a headscarf into hospital to wear after your surgery.
